Rethinking Drug Laws

Rethinking Drug Laws: Theory, History, Politics, is now in production with Oxford University Press, scheduled for publication in July 2023. It was written between 2019 and 2022 but based on work going back to around 2006. Further details are available on the publisher’s page for the book.

The book is an attempt to bring together my ideas and thinking from over the last 15 or so years, built on the premise that viewing the ‘drug question’ through the lens of regulation has the potential to generate transformative insights on this most thorny of legal and policy challenges.
